Guess What Google Calendar Chrome Extension Does?

If you're a Google Calendar user who's also a fan of Chrome, you'll want this excellent, free extension from Google itself: Google Calendar Chrome extension. With it, you'll be able to access your Google Calendar wherever you are on the Web, without having to visit the calendar itself.

The Google Calendar Chrome extension displays your Google Calendar in a pop-out window.
The Google Calendar extension for Chrome installs as an icon on the upper-right hand side of the screen. Click it and a window pops out, displaying with your calendar and all of its schedule events and meetings--just as if you visited it on Google Calendar. Click any event, and you'll see event details in the window. If you want to see more details about any event, when you're viewing an event, click the More Details link at the bottom of the screen, and you'll be sent to Google Calendar.

You can do more than just view your calendar with the Google Calendar Chrome extension. You can add events as well. And the extension displays not just one calendar, but all of your Google Calendars as well, and gives you the option of which to display and which to hide. The only down side is that you can't edit existing events; for that, you'll have to visit Google Calendar proper.

Anyone who uses Google Calendar and Chrome at all should install the Google Calendar extension for Chrome. It's a very useful time-saver.
