Motorola's Xoom tablet, which runs Android 3 (Honeycomb), Google's operating system for tablets, will go on sale Thursday in the U.S. through Verizon Wireless. The tablet first appeared at last month's Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas and generated significant buzz.
