Version 10.2.2 of iTunes is now available to download, offering fixes for a number of issues in the software.
According to the release notes, iTunes 10.2.2 contains fixes for:
- An issue where iTunes may become unresponsive when syncing an iPad.
- An issue which may cause syncing photos with iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to take longer than necessary.
- A problem where video previews on the iTunes Store may skip while playing.
- Other issues that improve stability and performance.
Additionally, there is a security fix for the Windows version of iTunes, closing a vulnerability that could have left users open to man-in-the-middle attacks while using the iTunes Store on a PC.
The download is 24.5MB for Mac OS X and 57.8MB for Windows. It is available via Software Update or the iTunes download page.
