E3 2011: Los Angeles Games Frenzy
The gaming world and its devotees gathered in Los Angeles this week to see what's new in games hardware and software. Let's take in the sights of E3 2011 so far.
The World Is In Play
With the new PlayStation Vita officially revealed, Sony was quick to slap up some banners touting its new baby.
World of Tanks
These guys guarding the World of Tanks, er, tank, were gracious enough to give us an inside look at their war machine.
Up close and personal with the tank's turret.
Some Rare Sonic Items
SEGA's Sonic Generations Booth hosted a collection of rare memorabilia from its collection. This is Sonic's 20th anniversary year.
Sonic Stands Tall
Sonic towers over a booth that celebrates his 20th anniversary.
Nintendo's e3 Booth
Nintendo's booth was the most densely populated of all that we toured.
International Registration Area
You don't want to be in line here after the show opens. Passes are better when you go for them prior to the show floor opening up.
Welcome to Gaming Heaven
Here is the main entrance to one half of the E3 2011 show floor.
Gears of War 3 Display
It's nice seeing old friends and enemies displayed larger than life-size. This touts the next installment in the Gears of War series.
Sony's Big Booth
As usual, Sony rivals Microsoft and Nintendo for which company has the biggest booth on the floor. The jury's still out.
Private Sony Demos
PlayStation Move demos ran in private suites inside the Sony booth.
Gaming Going On Everywhere
Got a free moment? Why not squeeze onto a little cube seat with a friend (or stranger) and play some Uncharted 3?
Not Everyone Tries to Compete With the Big Boys
Here's a collection of the 'smaller' booths along the walls of the E3 Expo walls.
A look at Capcom's booth at E3. Looks like they've set up some arcade-style machines.
Mario and Sonic: A Game for the 2012 London Olympics
Mario and Sonic will be appearing in their game based around the Olympic games to be held in London next year.
A Crowded Floor
Nintendo: Dozens of people per square foot.
Zelda in the Sky With Diamonds
Well, actually it's just huge Zelda ornaments lining the Expo ceiling.
