SpeechTrans TM, an app developer with links to speech recognition firm Nuance, has posted screenshots of an app running on what appears to be an iPhone with an edge-to-edge screen.
9to5Mac spotted images of the SpeechTrans Ultimate Powered By Nuance app in the iTunes Store, perhaps revealing one of the rumored new features of the forthcoming iPhone.
The images (below) don't all show iPhones with an edge-to-edge screen -- three of the five screenshots posted by SpeechTrans TM for its $19.99 app show what appears to be a regular iPhone 4.
Given SpeechTrans TM's links to Nuance, it seems possible that it could know about forthcoming iOS 5 and iPhone 5 features. However, the images are all clearly mock-ups so it is possible that the developers just made a mistake with the size of the screenshots, as 9to5Mac points out.
