Having to go away from home is always a difficult time for the dedicated gamer. You might be closing in on the final boss of your favorite RPG. Your team might be about to take the league title. Or your friends might be organizing an awesome multiplayer session which you wish you could join in on. But no. You're stuck in some hotel room/elderly relative's house/remote cottage in the middle of nowhere, far away from your games consoles, and your handhelds and mobile devices just aren't cutting it. Plus your Grandma really thinks she might want to try out this "Gears of War" she's been hearing so much about.

Enter the snappily-titled Gaems G155 Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 Portable Gaming System, the answer to your woes, so long as you have $300 to spare.

The G155 is a self-contained "mobile gaming environment" that features a 15.5" 720p LED HD display, built-in stereo speakers, dual headphone jacks and space to store controllers, power supplies and either an Xbox 360 or PS3. The case also has integrated disc sleeves to hold a few games, too.

The unit folds up into a not-very-discreet carrying case that looks like you're smuggling explosives when not in use, but it does look like it can probably take a fair amount of punishment, making it ideal for lengthy trips. Just make sure you take those discs out of the drive before you transport your console, unless you really, really like scratched discs and error messages.

The G155 will be available from June 23 from Amazon, Newegg and NCIX for a suggested retail price of $299.99.
