MixMeister Express

Mixmeister Express 6 shows you the audio files on your computer, allows you to drag them to a playlist, then shows you said playlist in a timeline format that allows fine control over fades, crossfades, transitions, and the like. Selection and positioning are drag and drop and you can zoom the timeline in and out at will for finer edits. The program even provides some canned FX, such as applause and airplane noise.

Once you're finished with your soon-to-be classic party mix, you can burn it to CD, export it to a single or multiple wave or wma files, or send it to a portable device such as an iPod. It's easy to produce professional results with Mixmeister Express 6, even for those without a lot of knowledge. It might take neophytes a bit to get used to the timeline, but only a bit.

Note: The demo version inserts a "This mix was made with Mixmeister" message and limits the number of times you can burn a mix.
