Johannes Vermeer Screensaver

Peaceful and pleasant, these scenes of everyday life in a quieter time provide a welcome respite from the cacophony of programs on the average PC. Vermeer's ringletted maidens and funny-hatted scholars are completely appropriate for a home or office setting. The works show in a pleasant, letterboxed slideshow. The title of the painting sits at the bottom of each image.

If I have any complaint, it's that the package counts details as separate paintings. Although the detail shots are interesting and well-chosen, I don't think they should be added to the touted count of 60 paintings. That said, the price is still relatively low, and the images are all attractive.
