SurveyFish is for those who need to create online surveys, and create reports based on the results. The program's $199 price tag can be off-putting though, and depending on your needs, your wallet may be better served by using a free online polling site such as PollDaddy.

You'll have to devote some time to the program if you want to create surveys and get the results. The whole process is a bit clunky, although serviceable. The surveys themselves are hosted on the developer's servers, so you won't have to host them yourself. Once the results are in, it's relatively easy to create various charts and graphs out of them.

A variety of Web sites offer tools for creating surveys online, without using downloadable software, and they tend to be easier to use than this program. So SurveyFish may not be the best way to spend your money.
