What you see in the above photo is what you get when you combine a typewriter with alcohol. Sort of. The Typewriter Cocktail Machine is a contraption built from scratch to create a drink out of any word you type. The machine is built around a QWERTY keyboard, and each key is a pump made from a syringe to deliver different flavors.
The pumps are connected to tubes that deliver the syrups out to the glass via a tap--press a key, and the flavor associated with that key will be dispensed into your glass. You can also attach a bottle of alcohol or other mixers to the top of the typewriter.
"Morskoiboy", the creator of the Typewriter Cocktail Machine, hopes to advance the typewriter further, so watch this space to see it get even more awesome. Plus, it's a project that you canrecreate at home with items from the drug store. Personally, it would be great to see the syrups to the side of the machine added into the main frame somehow. Watch the video below to see cocktail maker in action, and visit Morskoiboy's website for all the details on how he made it:
Now, I wonder what an "Elizabeth Fish" or "GeekTech" cocktail would taste of?
