It's finally spring--or at least the calendar says it is. Here in San Francisco there's still a serious chill in the air, and the fog just won't quit. What do you do if it's still too cold outside to enjoy those spring flowers? You can load some on your desktop with Psychedelic Spring, a Windows 7 theme that features four funky floral wallpapers from members of the DeviantArt online community.

"Lollipop Flowers" by DeviantArt member love1008.
In "Flowers Connection," Lara uses gorgeous 3D imagery to create an intricate tangle of purple-and-white daisies. An artist who goes by iamabanana created a trippy seventies scene of multicolored flowers called "Happy Flowers," appropriately enough (linked to this review). "Summer Fractal Flowers," by Deb, offers delicately rendered fractals that evoke lilies or plumeria blossoms. Finally, "Lollipop Flowers" by love1008 (shown on the left) is guaranteed to put a smile on your face. Be sure to click the artist's names here to see more of their work.

If the winter gloom hasn't lifted in your part of the world, at least you can cheer up your desktop with this colorful Windows 7 theme. Load up Psychedelic Spring, sit back, and enjoy.

Note: To install the theme, just unzip the archive file and double-click the themepack within. Windows does the rest.
