The cutest little PC of CES contest hasn’t even started, but Acer’s Revo One RL85 may have already won it.
The bad news first, though: This adorable-as-Boo-the-Dog PC won’t be sold in ‘Murica. Only Europeans will get to pinch its chubby cheek. Don’t be fooled, though—this Sweet Babboo has some bite.

Four USB ports, Gigabit Ethernet and two display outputs are on the back of the Revo One.
Acer says it will have versions with Core i3 and Core i5, and the unit can pack in up to three hard drives. Acer didn’t say whether that means 2.5-inch or 3.5-inch drives, but the company’s spec of “up to 2TB in size” tells us 2.5-inch, because you can now get 8TB in 3.5-inch hard drives.
For ports, the Revo One offers two USB 2.0, two USB 3.0, Gigabit Ethernet, HDMI 1.4 and a mini DisplayPort. There’s also an SD card slot on the top of its cute little head and onboard WiFi.

What’s really odd is this: Acer didn’t specify the operating system that would ship with the unit. That either means it comes bare-bones as a BYOS, or perhaps even with Linux aboard. The price of the Revo One RL85 is 269 Euros, which is about $325 American (at the exchange rate as of this writing).
Will there be faster mini PCs at CES? Probably. But will they be cuter? That’s pretty unlikely.
