The program is designed to convert just about any kind of video file to just about any other kind of video format. Thus, you can turn an AVI into an MPEG, a Windows Media Video into an iPhone video, and so on.
All you do is drag one or more videos to the WinX HD window, then choose your desired output setting. The tool supports not only generic formats, but also product-specific ones: Android, iPhone, iPad, Xbox, and so on.
You can also click the YouTube button and paste in the address of a video you like (from just about any video site, not just YouTube); WinX will download and convert it to the format of your choosing.
To get this freebie, click through using the above link, then click the Free Download button. While it’s downloading, click Next, then decide if you want to share the giveaway link via Facebook, Twitter, or email. (It’s optional.) Then click I’ve shared! Next to get the code you’ll need to activate the program.
Let me be clear on this last point: After you install and run WinX HD Video Converter Deluxe, it will ask you for a registration code. If you don’t paste in the one provided by the site, you’ll end up with only the trial version of the software.
That’s the only real caveat here, the other being that this freebie version doesn’t qualify for free upgrades. But it’ll stay functional (i.e. it won’t “time out”) for as long as it’s installed.
I’ve used Digiarty’s stuff before; it works pretty well. Of course, if you’ve found a video converter you like better, tell me about it in the comments!
