This handy reference guide covers all aspects of the operating system, from system navigation to app management to security.
Within each section, you’ll find a function (“Customize ringtones, notification sounds and volume levels,” for example), a corresponding icon to look for (where applicable), and a brief description of how to perform that function.
Want a printer-friendly version of the guide? Scroll to the bottom of the first page (just before the comments section) and you’ll find a tiny Print link.
Unfortunately, I couldn’t find a good way to make the cheat sheet mobile — that is, to make it easily viewable on your actual smartphone. My preferred Web-clipping service, Pocket, grabbed only the introduction.
Even so, as someone who finds Android 4.0 rather unintuitive, I found the cheat sheet extremely useful. It covers a ton of important functions with at-a-glance efficiency, meaning I can spend less time reading and more time working. Gotta love that.
