Turn Friday afternoon Beer O’Clock into Margarita O’Clock, complete with a traveling mariachi band, at the click of a button. Today–Friday, May 4th–the car service Uber is driving three of “the Bay area’s premiere mariachi bands” around the city this afternoon from noon to 5 PM, and you can book one for a song (pun intended), and $100, delivered to anywhere in the city, by clicking the “Let’s Party” button.
They’ll play a song for you, out of their repertoire or a request, and then leave you with a bottle of Tres Agave margarita mix and a piñata. (You’ll need to supply the tequila.) Or you could surprise your friends or a lover — Uber even offers to put the ring in the piñata if you’re planning an engagement.
That’s pretty much all there is to it. Reservations are surely going fast, if they’re not gone already, so if you want to liven up your startup’s boring, overworked Friday afternoon, get clicking!
