Lego artist (yes, that’s a thing!) Baron von Brunk merged the best handheld console ever with the greatest of toys, and also added in a Transformer to make the Domaster and Tetrawing. This Lego build is capable of four different transformations: The Game Boy turns into a robot (Domaster), while a little Tetris game cartridge can become a Laserbeak (Soundwave’s robotic companion).
The most amazing thing about this Lego set has to be the level of detail put into it. The Game Boy contains Lego AA batteries (which become the Transformer’s arm and laser), while Baron von Brunk printed the Tetris cartridge’s label on glossy paper and then cut it out so it can transform into the bird, dubbed Tetrawing.
Unfortunately, there is no indication if the set–which took a month to create–will ever be available to purchase, so don’t throw your money at your computer screen just yet. Perhaps Baron von Brunk should consider uploading this to something like Lego Cuusoo to encourage Lego to produce it for a wider audience.
Check out MOCpages to get a full gallery of the build.
Update: As noted in the comments below, due to overwhelming demand, Brunk will release a custom instructional guide–complete with a video demonstration and resources list–so you can create the set yourself. He hopes to have it up on his MOCpages profile in the next week, so get that box of Lego bricks ready!
