Want to take the awesomeness of Skyrim to a whole new level? How about playing it in virtual reality? That’s right, a setup now exists that allows you to fully immerse yourself in the world of the the Elder Scrolls.
In order to play this enhanced version of Skyrim, you’ll need Microsoft’s Kinect sensor to track your movements; the HMZ-T1 headset from Sony to allow you to see the game in 3D; the TrackIR5 and TrackClip Pro to track head movements; and some software to translate your movements into gameplay and provide speech recognition.
The whole setup will cost you $1500, but that’s a small price to pay to be able to feel like you have actually slain a dragon single-handedly. If you want to take your Skyrim gaming to a whole new level, check out the video above and you can also get a complete walkthrough on how to set this up on Zookal’s website.
