Zachary says the project will use one block per pixel, which will bring the final count over 780,000 Lego studs. The final build will stand over six feet tall and over 90 feet wide. The project is already underway, and Pollack has put up a Kickstarter page for contributions that will only be used to help him buy all those Lego pieces.
The project will be shown at Bricks Cascade in Portland, Oregon this June–while it is still under construction. Zachary expects to finish the project in time for BrickCon Expo in Seattle this October. Zachary also says he will try to make it to as many Lego and Video Game conventions such as PAX Prime and Comic Con International.
If you happen to live in the Portland, Oregon area, Zachary plans to hold brick building parties and every contributor is invited to join.
