Perfect for any geeky office space, the recycled “Circuit Table” rocks a fairly straightforward design made up of an ordinary coffee table with various old motherboards mounted on top of it. Chris placed a thick sheet of clear acrylic on top of the table to protect the hardware within–and of course to make a sturdy table top.
Although creating this table is a great way to recycle, this isn’t the first time these motherboards have been re-used: The motherboards Chris used were previously part of the office-space walls at DevLab. But following a change in office space the “motherboard walls” were discarded–that’s where Chris stepped in and created this re-recycled table.
You can find more details and pictures of the completed table on Chris’s website.
If you’ve reused any old hardware to make any geeky furniture or household accessories then let us know in the comments.
