Little Fighter 2 is a little game with a big following. Developed way back in 1999 by Marti Wong and Starsky Wong (no relation), this freeware free-for-all pits diminutive, spell-casting street fighters against each other in matches that range from one-on-one combat to full-scale battles. Choose from a variety of characters you can play, all of whom have their own special attacks and abilities. The classic anime look is equal parts chibi and Dragonball.
The basic game is addictive and easy to play, and player-created mods available elsewhere enhance and complicate gameplay. Up to four people can play on a single computer–at the same time (!), whereas up to eight players can compete online. A character guide/game FAQ is also available from the Little Fighter 2 downloads page.
