Pancake Bot (PB) by “Mexican Viking” is centered around a three-axis Computer Numerical Control, with the Z-axis acting as the pancake mix dispenser. The dispenser? Two empty ketchup bottles. Atop the PB is a track that carries the ketchup-bottle-dispenser above the griddle. PB’s actions are controlled using Python NXT, a scripting language specifically for Lego NXT projects.
The supports for the track are covered with aluminum foil to protect them and keep them from melting.
Pancake Bot still isn’t yet finished, but all the basic functions are there. Get the instructions on how to build PB on Mexican Viking’s blog, or watch it in action below.
