Verizon Droid X owners don’t have to wait much longer to get Gingerbread (Android 2.3) on their devices. Verizon is slated to start pushing out the update this Friday, though no word yet as to whether or not the Droid X2 will be getting the same treatment.
Along with Gingerbread, the OTA update also brings several bug fixes and improvements to the MotoBlur UI. These include improved battery life, new widgets, an improved calendar, and an improved camera. You can see the full 2.3.3 changelog on the Verizon Wireless support site.
