John asked the Web Browsing and Email forum if it’s safe to delete and block Java’s temporary files.
Absolutely. If you delete a file that you may need in the future, the file will simply be recreated.
First, go to the Java control panel: Select Start, then Control Panel. If you don’t see Java, click Switch to Classic View. (If you still don’t see Java, you probably don’t have it installed, in which case you don’t need this tip.)
On the General tab, in the Temporary Internet Files section, click Settings. Uncheck Keep temporary files on my computer. Click the Delete Files button. Check both options, and click OK.
