SlideRocket has upgraded its hosted application for building and sharing slide presentations to make them more interactive and better sales tools.
Also new are “virtual sticky notes” that let people viewing a presentation post comments on the slides. SlideRocket has also made more granular the usage data that presentation owners can capture and analyze.
Another new feature is a control dashboard for establishing collaboration and sharing settings for presentations and monitoring their usage from a central place.
SlideRocket was founded on the belief that presentations have been long due for a makeover that takes advantage of cloud-based collaboration and sharing.
“Presentations are built for when you really want to persuade someone. They are more strategic than e-mail. They’re for when you want to educate and engage and sell someone something,” said SlideRocket CEO Chuck Dietrich.
