HTC HD7 for T-Mobile
The behemoth of HTC’s WinPho7 lineup has a 4.3-inch screen, a software keyboard, 576MB of RAM, 16GB of storage, and a 5-megapixel camera with 720p video capture. Best of all, it has a kickstand. Look for the HTC HD7 on T-Mobile in mid-November for an as yet unannounced price.
Dell Venue Pro for T-Mobile

Dell’s foray into Windows Phone 7 handsets has a 4.1-inch screen and a QWERTY keyboard. Other specs include a 1GHz processor and a 5-megapixel camera, but T-Mobile is keeping other details under wraps. It’ll be available in time for the holidays directly from Dell and from select retailers (but not, it seems, from T-Mobile stores).
LG Quantum for AT&T and LG Optimus 7

LG’s lone WinPho7 offering for the United States is the Quantum (pictured at left; at right is the LG Optimus 7, which will launch in Europe and Asia). The Quantum has a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, a 3.5-inch display, 256MB of RAM, 16GB of storage, and a 5-megapixel camera. Its standout feature is a preloaded application called Play To, which permits users to stream video, photos, and music to other DLNA-supported devices, such as computers and connected televisions. Like all other AT&T Windows Phone 7 devices, it will cost $200 this holiday season.
HTC 7 Pro for Sprint

The HTC 7 Pro will land on Sprint early next year, in line with previous reports that CDMA Windows Phone 7 devices would not be arriving until the first half of 2011. This model has a QWERTY keyboard, and at 6.47 ounces it’s the heaviest phone in Microsoft’s initial portfolio. The screen size is 3.6 inches, and the phone carries a 1GHz processor, 576MB of RAM, 16GB of storage, and a 5-megapixel camera with 720p video capture.
Samsung Focus for AT&T

Samsung’s Focus will be the first Windows Phone 7 device out of the gate in the United States, launching on November 8 on AT&T for $200. Despite its roomy 4-inch screen, the Focus is the lightest phone in the initial Windows Phone 7 lineup, with a weight of 4.07 ounces. It also has the longest battery life–an estimated 6.5 hours of talk time. On the downside, 8GB of storage could fill up fast. Other specs include 256MB of RAM and a 5-megapixel camera with 720p video capture.
HTC Surround for AT&T

Though the HTC 7 Surround comes with a slide-out mechanism, it doesn’t have a physical keyboard. Instead, you get a sliding speaker for kicking out the jams or for having a conversation via speakerphone. Some other specs: a 3.8-inch screen with 480-by-800 resolution,a 5-megapixel camera with 720 video recording, 576MB of RAM, and 8GB of internal storage. Look for the HTC 7 Surround on AT&T for $200.
