LastPass is a Web-based, cross-platform (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, Chrome, iPhone, BlackBerry, Symbian, WebOS, Android, and Windows Mobile) secure password management service that lets you securely log in to multiple accounts with multiple passwords, using a single master password. LastPass desktop PC versions can save Web page forms, and all versions can fill forms and store encrypted notes. The basic LastPass service is free, but a paid Premium version costs $12 per year. The Premium service provides access to the mobile app versions such as this add-on to Dolphin Browser HD.
While the stand-alone LastPass Android app attempts to implement most of the features that are available in the desktop versions, this add-on limits itself to providing log-in and form-filling functionality using already-saved sites. Some sites, mainly financial institutions, are not compatible with this app; but for logging in to the many sites that are compatible, Last Pass for Dolphin HD can be a real time-saver.
This app works only as an add-on to Dolphin Browser HD, not as a stand-alone app. Since you can’t create new log-ins with this app, it’s only useful if you already have a LastPass Premium account with previously saved log-in info. If you don’t, you shouldn’t bother installing this app.
