SuccessFactors announced Thursday it plans to buy Australian business analytics vendor Inform Business Impact for US$25.5 million in cash and $15 million in SuccessFactors stock.
Inform’s software, which is also delivered on-demand, includes functionality for workforce planning, predictive analytics and key performance metrics. It will work alongside SuccessFactors’ lineup of human resources and performance management applications in a combined “business execution” suite, according to a statement. The deal is expected to close in the third quarter.
SuccessFactors, which has attracted attention with major customer wins such as Siemens, will also gain cross-selling opportunities among Inform’s roughly 130 clients. That list includes Comcast, Starbucks and Nike, according to a statement.
