Settings for screen brightness, low-power mode and more will help you last longer on a charge.

There’s no such thing as too much battery life, and Windows 10 can help you squeeze out more power with its Battery Saver feature. Here’s how to set it up.

[The rest]
There are three ways to get to Windows 10’s Battery Saver features. One way is by clicking the little battery icon at the far right of the taskbar. If you have Action Center enabled, you’ll see the Battery Saver icon there as well.

The third way is to click the Windows icon and go to Start > Settings > System >Battery. The Overview page will show how much battery you have left and how much time you have left, among other settings and alerts. Play around and see how much you can do.

Maybe this is obvious, but note that none of these features will be available if your PC is plugged in. And if you have other questions about using Windows 10 on a laptop, write us at
