In April 2010, Apple introduced the first-generation iPad, which came with automatic orientation, web browsing, and access to email.

Do you remember the original iPad?

People were really excited (Nat sound)

It launched in April 2010

It wasn’t the first tablet

But it was the coolest to-date

Apple sold over 300,000 on the first day

The cheapest model cost $499

No selfies! It didn’t have a camera

iPad was advertised for email, reading, and video games

or when you simply couldn’t be bothered to carry a laptop

Remember when automatic orientation seemed so cool?
